Garden State Parkway from North or South to Exit 135.
After leaving the Parkway, follow signs to Westfield (Central
Avenue.) Go to the first traffic light and turn left onto Raritan
Road. Go to the fifth traffic light (Lake Avenue) and turn right.
Follow Lake Avenue through six traffic lights (it will change to Martine
Avenue). Congregation Beth Israel is three blocks past the last
light. Please do not park on Washington Street.
From New York:
George Washington Bridge to Garden State Parkway South and follow directions above.
Lincoln Tunnel to Route 3 West to Garden State Parkway South and follow directions above.
Holland Tunnel to Route 78 West to Garden State Parkway South and follow directions above.
Verrazano Bridge to Goethals Bridge to
Routes 1 & 9 South. Turn right onto Stiles Street, left onto St.
Georges Avenue, then right onto Westfield Avenue (towards Clark). Turn
left at Raritan Road and right onto Lake Avenue and follow the directions above.
From Pennsylvania:
New Jersey Turnpike North to Garden State Parkway North (exit 11) and follow directions above.
From Somerville or Union Areas:
Route 22 (East or West) to Scotch Plains Exit (Park Avenue). Follow Park Avenue, which becomes Martine
Avenue to Congregation Beth Israel on your left (about 2 miles).
