Congregation Beth Israel Foundation
Ann Beckerman, Chair

The Foundation of Congregation Beth Israel's mission is broadly defined as encouraging children to participate in programs that will enhance their Jewish identity.  The only obligation of grant recipients is to share their experiences in writing.  Children of congregants 25 years of age and younger are eligible to receive grants for approved programs. Grants are provided without regard to financial need. Programs range from programs in Israel, the Kean University Jewish history course held at the Synagogue and other Jewish college courses, Jewish oriented summer camps in the US, USY on Wheels.  Applications are available through the Synagogue office or click here to download and deadline dates are October 31st and February 28th.

Contributions to the Foundation Committee are forever. They increase our investments from which the earned income is available for grants.  It enables our children to have experiences that in many cases are life altering events.  To parents, grandparents, and friends, give the gift that keeps on giving.  Make a contribution to the Congregation Beth Israel Foundation Committee.  Checks can be sent to the Foundation Committee at the Synagogue. Contributions are immediately acknowledged to those you choose to honor.
