Newcomers' is a cooperative social club geared toward new arrivals in our towns. As members, we are provided with an opportunity to meet and make friends with whom we can share our creative, athletic and cultural interests. Anyone who has lived in Scotch Plains or Fanwood less than 5 years or has experienced a change in lifestyle is invited to join the club. New Members: How to Join
We welcome new members anytime! To join the club, please follow these steps:

Print the new member form (24 kb Word DOC)
Fill in your contact information and mark your interests, please indicate whether you would like to receive the newsletter by e-mail or regular mail.
Send the form to Alyssa Amsellem (her address is on the form).

The yearly fee for new members is $30 (or $15 after February). You can either send it in with your application form or pay at a later date. For any questions about the form, please contact Alyssa Amsellem by e-mail.

Returning Members: Continue Your Membership
If you are a returning member, please follow these steps:

Print the returning member form (24 kb Word DOC)
Fill in your contact information and mark your interests, please indicate whether you would like to receive the newsletter by e-mail or regular mail and how many years you have been a member.
Send the form to Alyssa Amsellem (her address is on the form).

The yearly fee for members less than three years is $30 (or $15 after February) while associate members (those who have been members more than three years) owe $25. You can either send it in with your application form or pay at a later date. For any questions about the form, please contact Alyssa Amsellem by e-mail.

Attending the Events
Most of the Newcomers' events occur between late September and early June. Each month a newsletter listing all events is sent by e-mail or regular mail (your preference). We welcome your participation at all of our events; however, please check the newsletter or call the chairman of the event prior to arriving. In some cases, it may be necessary to RSVP due to size limits of some functions. Thanks for your cooperation. We hope to see you soon!
